Robert Nolan, is certified as an MBTI® Master Practitioner and is qualified to deliver the Myers Briggs® Type Indicator, Step l™ and Step ll™ programs.

He has more than thirty five years of sales, management, coaching and building relationships in the Gift and Home Furnishings Industry both in the US and abroad including an advisory role with the Department of Export Promotion in Thailand.

After ten plus years in the Mortgage Banking industry serving in various positions such as Sr. Loan Officer and manager for several builder/mortgage relationships. He joined Phoenix Consulting Group in 2003 where he helped design and deliver sales training courses, and developed competitive intelligence systems in several major corporations.

Our Vision:

The Psychology of Sales is about knowledge; the knowledge of one's self and the understanding of others. Every sales person is unique and therefore needs to understand their own uniqueness before trying to interpret others. Every sale and individual purchaser is different from the last and each one presents its own challenges.

It is the ability to see past the roadblocks that might exist and find new highways of opportunities for future successes.

Determining "Outcomes" and not just setting "Goals" requires learning new skills for communicating with others, speaking their language, not yours. Rapport is easily built when two people communicate using the same language, almost impossible when there is a language barrier. Knowing their language is powerful and provides opportunity to opening doors that may have been closed in the past.
